Self Portrait Collage
Rebecca is pulling out all the stops by teaching you all her tips and tricks to collage quilting. If you've ever wanted to try collage art but thought it was too hard or intimidating now is your chance! In this class Rebecca makes it easy and fun as we delve into making self portraits! You will learn about color, value, texture and composition as you make your own masterpiece!

| Requirements: | Supply List * Materials list: *Background fabric- 12"x12" *Various scraps of fabrics can be used to complete this collage art quilt. Gather scraps or squares of fabrics you would like to incorporate into your collage. You might also like floral or textured fabrics of each color. Be on the lookout for fun motifs that can be fussy cut and incorporated into your art collage. *1 yard of (Lite)Steam-a-Seam2 *Fusible pen and pencil/pen *Karen K Buckley fine point (blue handle) medium scissors or Tim Holtz small scissors. *Parchment Paper (I keep a roll on hand) *Silicone baking mat- useful but not necessary. *Iron and Ironing board *Light mat- useful but not necessary. *Awl- useful but not necessary. Your own Portrait idea's (Magazine cut outs etc.) |
