Hemmingway Bag!
Come and learn how to make a Hemingway pouch!
In class we will be lightly quilting our fabric and foam, cutting our pieces, and installing a zipper....it's just that easy!
Requirements:
- Hemingway Bag Pattern by Center Street Quilts
- Exterior Fat Quarter
- Interior Fat Quarter
- Accent Fabric 1/4 yd
- 18"x21" piece of Soft and Stable or comparable foam/batting
- Zipper, min 24" long
- Thread to coordinate with fabric choices
What to Bring to Class
- Sewing Machine (in good working condition)
- Thread
- machine needles
- walking foot (optional but will help to quilt the foam)
- zipper foot (mandatory)
- coordinating thread
- rotary cutter
- ruler (6"x18" or longer recommended)
- thread snips
- scissors
- marking pen/frixion pen
